With voters clearly hoping for action, the toughest road for the Constitutional Convention on property taxes still lies ahead. For Democrats, the politics of the convention and the solutions it will propose are fraught with peril. If we are not extremely careful this convention idea may do for Republicans in New Jersey in 2005 what banning gay marriages did for them nationally in 2004. Whose idea was this anyway?
