Republican Response

Moving into primary day, Jon Corzine will not be a factor – he's not liked or disliked enough to matter.  Of course, this is not unusual as contested primaries are often local battles about local issues.  This year is no different, whether in Democratic Hudson County legislative races or in Republican Bergen County districts, the contests are local grudge matches where one would be hard pressed to find a single word from any of the candidates about issues affecting the State.
