Response by Rick Thigpen

Mike Castle will likely escape the fate of a good number of Republicans this fall.  His years of carefully tending to his independent Republican image, will allow him to avoid what the voters clearly believe is a just reward for the performance of the Republicans in Washington -- a ticket to oblivion.
