Republican Response

Opinions about current events, like the war in Iraq, and opinions of political leaders, like President Bush, are driven largely by partisan intensity and pre-disposition.  New Jersey's heavily Democrat pre-disposition combines with a news media that sells advertising based on "the more bad news the better," to focus on the negative and sensational. There is much that is positive in Iraq and with the President, but when no one talks about it, and people are not inclined to believe it anyway, these are the resulting numbers.
