Republican Response

New Jersey is a bare knuckle state where campaigns are a contact sport.  In New Jersey it may actually be possible to defeat someone like Tom Kean, Jr., with an ethically challenged no one special, Bob Menendez, especially if the "no one" special has Democrat after his name.  Kean's ads are too artsy-fartsy for New Jersey while Menendez in plain, clear English is hanging Bush around Kean's neck.  Kean can win if he closes the fund raising gap and toughens his message against Menendez.
