Response to Gubernatorial Poll by Rick Thigpen

This is really the tale of two campaigns. One candidate continues to show considerable political strength on his march to victory while the other shows significant political weakness on his path to defeat. It is noteworthy that Jim McGreevey has successfully energized his base and united his party while Schundler has been able to accomplish neither and continues to be a divisive figure even within his Republican party. For Bret Schundler the window of opportunity to win this election is rapidly closing. New Jersey voters are not buying this brand of conservative politics.
