Response by Stephen Salmore

“While Bush has been evaluated on foreign policy, the governor has been evaluated on domestic policy. With one going well and the other going poorly it's not surprising to see the diversion in their job ratings. McGreevey has to deal with the budget and it’s not going well. And without a war to win, McGreevey may find himself in difficulty when it comes to reelection. Of course, when the both of them run for reelection the war may be a distant memory and the economy might turn around”
