Democratic Response

We have to give the governor credit for keeping it real. The governor admits our state is on the wrong track. The governor’s problem is voters are showing few signs of supporting his solution. If the people don’t buy it, neither will the legislature.

But the jury is still out. As the governor makes his case for restructuring in the court of public opinion -- as well as his case for another term as Governor -- stay tuned, because the plan we see today will likely be reworked and retooled with a lot less pain to the pocketbook.
