Coniglio seems set to beat the heck out of Rose.  Senator Coniglio is well on his way to shocking his opponent Assemblywoman Rose Heck, whom many Republicans had counted on to win this November.  Sitting on a solid lead late in the game, Coniglio’s closers, the Bergen County Democrats backed by the AFL-CIO, will shut the door on any late inning rallies by Rose.  Absent some last minute wholesale defection of independent voters from the Coniglio camp, it looks hard to see how Assemblywoman Heck can put it together.  Some political observers noticing the Senator’s performance in this fall classic, against a tough veteran opponent, have taken to calling him the new Mr. October.
