Republican Response

Senator Robert Menendez has the worst polling numbers of any Democrat incumbent U.S. Senator in the country.  He's highly vulnerable to a local, ethics-driven, anti-tax campaign. For Kean to win, the election must be a Kean-not-Menendez choice as opposed to a Republican vs. Democrat referendum.
