Response by Rick Thigpen

New Jersey is settling into the democratic column. Our electorate is holding firm in its opinion that Bush has led America down the wrong track. His only chance to make any real progress is to play to the voters fears of a terror attack.

George Bush is pro-guns, pro-life, pro-deficits and pro-war. Hell will freeze over before New Jersey voters embrace that type of conservative message. That loud thumping sound is the Bush campaign's head bumping up against the glass ceiling for conservative politics in New Jersey. With a little bit of luck, the incumbent President may get 46% of the popular vote here. Watch as Republicans support the President but will duck his politics.
