Survey Details
New Jerseyans voted
Governor Jim Florio out of office after he broadly raised taxes. They
elected and re-elected Christine Todd Whitman who passed a property-tax
rebate program. Now both are out of office and while 42% of voters maintain
an unfavorable view of Jim Florio, 50% have an unfavorable view of former
Governor Whitman.
